Restaurants and Pubs. We highly recommend the Swiss restaurant BYOU and the Italian based LACKLAN Restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Both European and Sri Lankan fare is offered and they served a good house wine. The presentation is excellence the service friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Order your BBQ in Dickmans private garden ( one day before) and you will enjoy that super Mixed Grill from our great cook, dinner included the special German Potato Salad and you can invite your own guests. The Sri Lankan arrack is included ;-). The Beach Bar of Negombo is” Dolce Vita” the Lounge place to hang out all day with a good espresso, cappuccino or the famous Ceylon tea or a cool beer to enjoy the view of the hundreds of fishing boats and the breath taking sunset at 6 pm, free beach chairs for Dickman Resort VIP guests open till evening. The newest restaurant is the must GO place in Negombo The "Jetwing Blue" they have great restaurant with stunning view to the beach and will makes your dinner special also their Lunch menu and buffet is exellent. The "Jetwing Beach"  next to the "Blue" has on the first floor the fusion a la carte air conditioning restaurant the place where you will find the best food and wines outside of Colombo. King Coconut is famous for his Sri Lanka Rice and Curry Dish for Lunch or Dinner the place where you see more Local Sri Lankans guests then tourists, the Seafood Menu from Lobster to Jumbo Prawns is still the best priced in town. All Restaurants and Pubs are in walking distance of 5 minutes of the Dickman Resort. Other Popular Pubs in Negombo-Ettukala who also serving food. Sherry Land; Good atmosphere and nice service. Serendip; International drinks and super bartender. Rodeo Bar; Always busy and very good value for your money. The Lords; The pink owned restaurant. Martin is back alive and kicking and you can enjoy his food and presentation so special as before.
